We began our coastal trip in Florence, staying just 1 night for folks to get settled. Of course the amazing light we had that evening kicked the tour off with a bang. On the coast we settled into our seaside hotel and began relaxing, drinking wine, and of course doing lots of photography. The weather and the light seemed tailor-made for our small group. The calm seas made for perfect conditions on the days when we took boat trips out to scenic coastal villages. Every sunset we watched displayed glorious colors, and everyone in the group got spectacular images. I love being with a small, agreeable group and just heading out in the mini-van and "seeing what we see". This flexibility allowed this group and I to discover several places along the Italian Riviera where I hadn't been before but which turned out to be completely awesome. Can't wait to take folks to coastal Italy again next year!
