Italy welcomed Anya and I back with its inviting culture, stunning landscapes and delicious gelato. Our group was a fun mix of photographers from all over the US and even Canada. They were all ready to experience the best of Tuscany. We started in Florence with a gorgeous sunset and had lots of fun watching people, and photographing this wonderful city for 3 days. We then moved to the hilltowns of Tuscany where the flowers and wheat fields were especially awesome this year. The weather was absolutely perfect and only matched by the great food and enthusiastic company of our small group. Some of the most fun we had was simply driving the back roads and ‘getting lost’ while searching for S-curving roads, ethereal light, and poppy fields. Shown here is a ‘new’ S-curve that I had researched and managed to find thanks to a good navigator from Canada.
