Don's Destination: Halong Bay, Vietnam
It's been a long time since we visited Southeast Asia in one of my newsletters so this month we'll go there. This image is of Halong Bay, Vietnam, one of the most spectacular places on Earth. Located in northern Vietnam, Halong Bay is a UNESCO world heritage site and rightly so. Thousands of limestone karsts rise up from the sea in a stunning display of beauty. Floating villages, where locals live as one with the sea bob among the uninhabited islands and unique wildlife species of all kinds are found there. Photography possibilities are endless. I do think that everyone should see and experience Halong Bay at least once in their lifetime, and I've got some secret ways to do it right. Email me anytime for travel tips to the area.
