Don's Destination - Letchworth State Park, NY
My family and I took a vacation recently to visit relatives in upstate New York. They took us to one of their favorite places - Letchworth State Park. I quickly saw why it's a favorite. The Genesee River flows through a gorgeous, narrow canyon where three very pretty waterfalls can be easily seen and photographed. The "Middle Falls" shown here, is the highest of the three at 107 feet tall. I used a small aperture, low ISO and neutral density filter to slow the water down. There are all kinds of hikes and adventure activities in the park. I can imagine even more beauty in the area during the fall color season (middle October) and someday we plan to be there for that. If you happen to be in upstate New York anytime I highly recommend going out of your way to visit Letchworth State Park. Click HERE to read the rest of the August newsletter.
