Don's Destination: The Dolomites, Italy
How time flies! I've been so busy traveling and leading photo tours that I've neglected my monthly newsletter and for those faithful readers, I offer an apology. So let's get on with it. This month's destination is the area known as the Italian Dolomites. This region in northern Italy is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and rightly so. Merely driving through the area causes endless gasps and expressions of delight at the pure beauty of everything. Quaint villages nestled below shark's teeth mountains, medieval castles, reflecting lakes, rushing streams and jagged peaks are everywhere. Every bend in the road leads to another WOW location. I had the pleasure of leading my first photo tour of the region earlier this month and it quickly moved to a lofty position on my all-time favorites list. Will I lead another photo tour to the area? Yes, especially if you email me and let me know you are interested. If you ever get a chance to explore this region - go and simply enjoy! Click HERE to read the rest of the newsletter.
