Tuscany Cultural Photography Tour 2019
Post-trip Report
About the 2019 tour (dates were May 7-16, 2019)
Tuscany, Italy has certainly become a part of my life now. I've been leading photo groups there for 7 years and each time I arrive the region manages to surprise and delight me and my tour participants. As is usual with travel and outdoor photography Mother Nature kept us on our toes. We had chilly weather, lots of cold wind, a bit of rain and clouds but...several times the glorious sun broke out and gave us the magic light that Tuscany is famous for. I loved waking up each morning not knowing what light or subjects we'd find. And we found some great ones and photographed them all. We also ate lots of perfect Italian pizzas, pastas and of course the world's best gelato. My fun group celebrated being together in picturesque locations with laughter, stories and the shared common interest of getting great photos. Thank you to those of you who were there to experience the joy that Tuscany is. All my images shown here were taken with a Canon 5D Mark IV and either a Tamron 28-300mm lens or a Tamron 17-35mm lens.
I do plan to offer this tour again in 2020 so stay in touch if you'd like to join us then.
