Yellowstone Tour 2018
About the 2018 tour (dates were September 18-23, 2018)
Yellowstone this year was everything it is supposed to be. My group and I witnessed all that this unique national park has to offer. We saw spouting geysers, colorful hot springs, massive waterfalls, huge elk, Bison, gorgeous sunrises and stunning sunsets. And of course we captured it all with our cameras. I'd say we had "normal" weather with chilly mornings and mild afternoons. We had a mix of sunny and cloudy days including one day with perfect "LPC's (little photographer clouds). My group came together almost immediately from the initial meeting and as we traveled and photographed together we played off each others strengths and each of us made the others just a bit better. It was a wonderful week and I already miss Yellowstone and all those who were with me there.
Thank you to those of you who joined me in this fabulous park.
My images shown here were taken with a Canon 5D Mark IV and either a Tamron 28-300mm lens or a Tamron 150-600mm lens or a Canon 17-40mm lens.
I do plan to offer this tour again in 2019 so stay in touch if you'd like to join us then.
